Absolutely NO SMOKING allowed on the property.
No running, screaming, loud noises, or other inappropriate behavior on the Stein Farm property.
No climbing of trees or on farm implements.
No picking of fruits or vegetables unless given permission by the caretakers.
Please do not handle or remove the animals, museum artifacts, or farming implements from the property.
All volunteers must wear the proper clothing and footwear for outdoor activities while working on the farm. NO OPEN TOED SHOES/SANDALS.
Farming and maintenance tools and equipment will be provided. Any outside tools or materials brought onto the farm must be approved and checked in by management.
The Stein Farm observes zero tolerance for harmful and inappropriate behavior towards or around the animals, other farm volunteers, farm visitors, or farm neighbors. Immediate removal from the property will be implemented.
The Stein Family Farm, operated by the National City Living History Farm Preserve Incorporated, does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. However, as indicated above, we reserve the right to remove and refuse the presence of any individual or entity that has demonstrated harm or harmful will against those representing the Stein Family Farm including the animals.
